We just wrapped up an amazing show today on Hip-Hop & Her Family.
Masia One and
DJ Autograph stopped by the studio, with surprise guest
Hanna Herbertson. Masia is a Canadian MC who just dropped the album
Bootleg Culture, and it was such a pleasure to talk to her about her work, her views on culture and staying independent. DJ Autograph dropped two killer sets-- first a collection of music on the border between Hip-Hop and Reggae, then a timeline of dancehall. Plus I got to chat with Hanna Herbertson, a renowned dancer who travels the world teaching and performing dancehall and hip-hop dance. Many thanks yall!!
